Build your own air-gapped Bitcoin signing device with the SeedSigner DIY Kit by NodeAxe. The kit pairs SeedSigner-compatible electronics with our open-style 3D-printed frame.

Your hardware. Your build.

Assemble the board, display, camera and NodeAxe frame, then install and verify the official SeedSigner software yourself. Pink and black frame choices are planned.

Build platform

  • Raspberry Pi Zero-based signing hardware.
  • 1.3-inch, 240 × 240 LCD with joystick and three buttons.
  • Pi Zero-compatible camera for QR scanning.
  • NodeAxe open-frame case.
  • microSD-based operating system.

The final package will specify the Pi revision, camera, card capacity, fasteners and GPIO-header assembly requirements before orders open.

Offline, stateless signing

SeedSigner uses QR codes to exchange transaction information with a compatible wallet. Seed material is held for the signing session rather than intentionally stored permanently on the device. Protect your recovery backup and any passphrase separately.

Software installation

Ships without preloaded SeedSigner software. Download the official release, verify it and flash your own microSD card using the project instructions. Never use a seed supplied by a seller.
