Bringing Bitcoin, Blockchain & Open-Source Technology Into the Classroom

STEM Pilot Program — In Development

Help shape a hands-on educational experience connecting mathematics, engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, and financial literacy through real-world technology.

STEM LEARNING TRACKS

What Students Will Learn

Explore four hands-on learning tracks connecting Bitcoin and blockchain technology to mathematics, computer science, engineering, cybersecurity, financial literacy, and real-world problem-solving. Our pilot program is being developed in collaboration with educators and participating schools.

01 — BITCOIN & BLOCKCHAIN FUNDAMENTALS

Understand Decentralized Technology

Explore how Bitcoin transactions, blockchain networks, mining, and independent nodes work together. Students investigate digital ownership, distributed systems, and the technology behind decentralized networks.

02 — HARDWARE, ELECTRONICS & ENGINEERING

Build. Test. Experiment.

Explore open-source Bitcoin mining hardware through hands-on engineering. Students investigate Bitaxe miners, ASIC chips, circuit boards, power supplies, cooling systems, and 3D printing while learning how hardware design affects energy efficiency and performance.

03 — CRYPTOGRAPHY & CYBERSECURITY

Discover the Mathematics of Security

Explore cryptography, probability, entropy, hashing, and digital signatures through hands-on experiments. Students investigate how randomness protects digital information, generate simulated wallet seeds using dice, and discover how open-source tools like SeedSigner demonstrate secure Bitcoin transactions.

04 — FINANCIAL & ENERGY LITERACY

Explore the Economics of Technology

Discover how electricity, energy efficiency, and economics intersect with Bitcoin mining. Students explore power consumption, operating costs, renewable energy, mining rewards, and financial decision-making through real-world calculations and experiments.

NODEAXE STEM PILOT PROGRAM

How the Pilot Program Works

NodeAxe is developing a hands-on STEM education program with input from schools, educators, and community organizations. Our pilot initiative will explore practical classroom activities, test learning materials, and help shape a curriculum that connects Bitcoin, blockchain, and open-source technology with real-world skills.

Express Interest in the Pilot

PILOT SCHOOL OPPORTUNITIES

Help Build the Future of STEM Education

NodeAxe is inviting high schools, STEM educators, after-school programs, and educational organizations to help shape a new approach to hands-on Bitcoin, blockchain, and open-source technology education.Through our pilot initiative, participating educators will have the opportunity to explore classroom activities, evaluate practical hardware demonstrations, and contribute feedback that helps develop engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.  Our goal is to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world technology. By connecting mathematics, computer science, electronics, engineering, and financial literacy, we aim to introduce students to skills and technologies they can continue exploring beyond the classroom. No previous Bitcoin or blockchain experience is required. We're looking for curious educators and schools interested in helping build something meaningful from the ground up.

DEVELOPING THE NODEAXE STEM PILOT

Collaborate. Explore. Evaluate. Improve.

Our pilot program follows a collaborative development process that brings educators, students, and technology together. From identifying classroom needs to testing hands-on activities and refining educational materials, each stage helps shape a practical, engaging STEM learning experience.

01 — CONNECT WITH EDUCATORS

Build Educational Partnerships

Connect with schools, STEM teachers, and educational organizations to identify classroom needs, student interests, and opportunities for hands-on learning. Together, we'll explore how Bitcoin, blockchain, and open-source technology can support existing STEM subjects.

02 — DEVELOP CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES

Turn Technology Into Learning

Develop engaging, age-appropriate lessons and hands-on projects that connect classroom concepts with real-world technology. Explore activities involving Bitcoin mining hardware, blockchain networks, cryptography, electronics, programming, and engineering. Pilot educators will help identify practical learning objectives, equipment requirements, and classroom resources.

03 — EVALUATE LEARNING EXPERIENCES

Test. Discover. Learn.

Evaluate classroom activities, educational materials, and hands-on technology demonstrations in real learning environments. Participating educators will help assess student engagement, learning outcomes, equipment needs, and the effectiveness of each activity. Their feedback will guide improvements to the developing NodeAxe STEM curriculum.

04 — REFINE & IMPROVE

Shape the Future of STEM Education

Use feedback from educators and pilot participants to improve classroom lessons, hands-on activities, and educational resources. NodeAxe will use these insights to refine instructional materials, strengthen learning objectives, and develop a scalable STEM program that schools and educational organizations can adopt in the future.
