Depending upon how you interact with NodeAxe, you may provide information such as:

  • Name;
  • Email address;
  • Telephone number;
  • Billing and shipping information;
  • Order information;
  • Account information;
  • Support requests and communications;
  • Newsletter preferences;
  • Business information provided in connection with commercial inquiries; and
  • Other information you voluntarily provide.

Orders and Payments

When you purchase a product, information necessary to process, fulfill, support, and document the transaction may be collected.

Payment information may be processed by third-party payment providers. NodeAxe does not necessarily receive or retain complete payment-card information handled directly by a payment processor.

Automatically Collected Information

Our website and service providers may automatically collect technical information such as IP address, browser or device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, approximate location derived from technical information, and website interaction data.

The precise information collected depends upon the website technologies and services enabled at the time.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

NodeAxe may use cookies or similar technologies necessary to operate the website, maintain shopping-cart functionality, remember preferences, understand website usage, and provide enabled functionality.

Additional information is available in our Cookie Policy.

How We Use Information

NodeAxe may use information to:

  • Process and fulfill orders;
  • Provide products and services;
  • Respond to support and contact requests;
  • Maintain customer and transaction records;
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our website;
  • Prevent fraud or misuse;

  • Protect NodeAxe, our customers, and our systems.

Service Providers

NodeAxe may provide information to service providers where reasonably necessary to operate our business, such as website hosting, ecommerce, payment processing, shipping, email delivery, analytics, security, and professional-service providers.

Service providers receive information for the purpose of performing services on our behalf or as otherwise described in their own applicable terms and privacy practices.

Sale of Personal Information

NodeAxe does not sell personal information for monetary compensation.

If our use of advertising, analytics, or other technologies changes in a manner that triggers additional legal disclosure or opt-out obligations, this Privacy Policy and our privacy controls should be updated accordingly.

Marketing Communications

If you subscribe to NodeAxe updates, we may send communications relating to products, projects, educational material, Labs developments, or company news.

You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the unsubscribe mechanism provided with those communications.

Transactional or service-related communications may still be sent where necessary.

Data Security

NodeAxe uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information being handled.

No Internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Data Retention

We may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including order fulfillment, customer support, accounting, tax, legal, fraud-prevention, warranty, and business-record requirements.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending upon where you reside and applicable law, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, or other treatment of personal information.

Requests may be submitted through our Contact page. NodeAxe may need to verify a request before acting upon it.

Children

The NodeAxe website and ecommerce services are not directed to children for the purpose of collecting personal information.

Educational content may be used in classroom or STEM settings, but any collection of information in connection with a specific educational program should be governed by the applicable program arrangements and privacy requirements.

External Websites and Services

Our website may link to third-party websites, open-source projects, mining pools, software repositories, payment services, and other resources.

NodeAxe is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties.

Business Transfers

If NodeAxe is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, information may be transferred as permitted by applicable law.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our website, vendors, and business operations change.

Contact

Privacy questions or requests may be submitted through the NodeAxe Contact page or info@nodeaxe.com.

The current website uses Hostinger for hosting, WordPress and WooCommerce for site and store functions, and MailPoet for email subscriptions and delivery. Signup information and technical delivery data are processed to maintain the requested lists and send confirmation or update emails. You can unsubscribe using the link in each marketing email.

Bitcoin, Lightning and business support

Online payments are not yet active. Our planned Bitcoin checkout uses BTCPay Server; payment records may include invoice identifiers, wallet addresses, transaction identifiers, amounts and payment status linked to an order. On-chain Bitcoin transactions are publicly visible, and deleting a website account does not remove blockchain records. Lightning payments have different network visibility but may still create invoice and routing records.

If you engage NodeAxe for monitoring or troubleshooting, the written service scope will identify the systems and operational data we may access, such as device status, logs and alerts. Access should be limited to what the agreed work requires. Do not send seed phrases, private keys, passwords or complete card details through contact or support forms.

The credit-card provider will be identified before card checkout is activated. Any material change to payment, analytics or advertising providers will be reflected in the relevant disclosures.
