Explore digital security through a hands-on SeedSigner build. The NodeAxe SeedSigner STEM Kit is a developing classroom package for high-school STEM programs, libraries and makerspaces.

Students investigate how hardware, randomness and cryptography work together. The planned package combines a SeedSigner-compatible build in a NodeAxe open-frame case with assembly activities, student worksheets and educator guidance.
Planned learning activities
Identify the computer, display, camera and GPIO connections.
Assemble and inspect an open-frame device.
Explore binary combinations, entropy and exponential growth.
Demonstrate QR-based communication and transaction signing using disposable classroom data.
Discuss software verification, backups and hardware trust.
Classroom format
Intended initially for grades 9–12, with students working in pairs. Session length, quantities, teacher materials and final hardware contents will be confirmed during pilot development.
Education with demonstration data
No Bitcoin purchase or ownership is required. Use demonstration-only seeds and transactions, never student wallet secrets or funds. This package teaches engineering and cybersecurity.
