Bitaxe brings Bitcoin mining hardware, firmware and configuration into an accessible desktop format, allowing users to explore how proof-of-work mining operates.

Triple-path airflow
Main ASIC cooling
The primary duct directs air through the 52Pi Low-Profile Plus heatsink over the mining ASIC.
Voltage-regulator cooling
The upper channel directs airflow toward the voltage-regulator area and nearby components.
PCB backside cooling
The lower duct directs airflow beneath and behind the board, targeting the backside thermal plane and surrounding power components.
One full-size 120mm fan
The Whale uses one 120mm be quiet! fan for its cooling airflow. The system is designed for desktop environments where cooling, noise and appearance all matter.
Actual sound levels, operating temperatures and mining performance depend on fan speed, ASIC settings, ambient conditions and hardware configuration.
Designed around the 52Pi Low-Profile Plus
The Whale chassis is shaped around the cooler’s aluminum fin stack and copper heatpipe assembly, using a custom mounting adaptation for Bitaxe Gamma 601 and 602.
Compatibility with additional Bitaxe boards and cooling configurations may be introduced separately.
